Herceptin 600mg/5ml Subcutaneous Injection contains trastuzumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody belonging to the HER2 receptor antagonist drug class, combined with hyaluronidase to allow subcutaneous delivery. Doctors prescribe it for early and metastatic HER2 positive breast cancer, in combination with chemotherapy or as maintenance therapy.

Herceptin 600mg/5ml Subcutaneous Injection is also used for HER2 overexpressing metastatic gastric cancer. Unlike the intravenous formulation, this fixed dose does not require adjustment for body weight and is given as a single injection into the thigh every three weeks.

Warnings
