Vinox 60mg Injection Ingredients and Usage
Vinox 60mg Injection contains enoxaparin sodium, a low molecular weight heparin used as an anticoagulant. An anticoagulant is a blood thinner that stops harmful clots from forming or growing. Doctors give Vinox as a subcutaneous injection under the skin.
Vinox 60mg Injection prevents and treats deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. It also treats unstable angina, NSTEMI, and STEMI as part of heart attack care. Surgeons use Vinox to prevent clots in high risk surgical patients.
How Does Vinox 60mg Injection Work?
Vinox 60mg Injection binds antithrombin III, a natural protein that switches off clotting enzymes. This enoxaparin and antithrombin complex strongly inhibits Factor Xa, a key enzyme in the clotting cascade. Blocking Factor Xa stops the body from generating thrombin.
Enoxaparin has a high anti Factor Xa to anti thrombin ratio of about 4 to 1. This selective action prevents fibrin clot formation while needing less routine blood monitoring than standard heparin. Vinox therefore stops clots from forming and growing.
Vinox 60mg Injection Side Effects
Vinox 60mg Injection causes side effects common to anticoagulant therapy. Bleeding and injection site reactions are the most frequent effects.

Warnings
Vinox carries a boxed warning for spinal and epidural haematoma during neuraxial anaesthesia or spinal puncture. These haematomas can cause long term or permanent paralysis.
Vinox increases the risk of serious bleeding. The risk rises with NSAIDs, antiplatelet drugs, or other anticoagulants taken at the same time.
Vinox can cause heparin induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), a serious drop in platelets. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of HIT.
Vinox needs dose adjustment in severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance below 30 mL/min. The drug accumulates in these patients and raises bleeding risk.
Vinox is contraindicated in active major bleeding and hypersensitivity to heparin or pork products. Doctors give it under the skin only, never into a muscle.
Vinox 60mg Injection Storage Conditions
Store Vinox 60mg Injection below 30°C and protect it from direct sunlight. Keep the pre-filled syringes in their original carton and do not freeze them. Keep Vinox out of the reach of children, and let a doctor or nurse guide its use and administration.
