Efacurim Ingredients and Usage

The active ingredient is Fluconazole, a bis-triazole antifungal agent. The 50mg/5mL solution is administered as intravenous infusion over approximately 30-60 minutes.

Efacurim is clinically indicated for:

• Systemic candidiasis and cryptococcal meningitis
• Esophageal and oropharyngeal candidiasis
• Prophylaxis in immunocompromised patients
• Urinary tract and peritoneal fungal infections

Efacurim exerts antifungal activity through ergosterol synthesis inhibition:
