The active ingredient is inactivated Hepatitis A virus strain HM175, cultivated in human diploid cells. The vaccine is administered as a two-dose series, with the first dose given at 12 months through 18 years of age, and the second dose 6-12 months later, via intramuscular injection in the deltoid muscle.
