The active ingredient is Amikacin Sulfate, a semi-synthetic aminoglycoside antibiotic derived from kanamycin. It is administered by intravenous infusion over 30-60 minutes or deep intramuscular injection, with dosage adjusted based on renal function, ideal body weight, and therapeutic drug monitoring.

Grasil is clinically indicated for:

• Serious infections caused by multi-drug resistant gram-negative bacteria
• Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections
• Nosocomial pneumonia and ventilator-associated pneumonia
