The active ingredient is Betahistine Dihydrochloride, a histamine H1 partial agonist and H3 receptor antagonist. It is usually taken two or three times daily with food to minimize stomach upset.

Betahistine is clinically indicated for:

2. Asthma and Bronchospasm: Contraindicated in patients with pheochromocytoma and used cautiously in asthmatics
